Anxiety and OCD can be overwhelming, affecting daily life and overall well-being. It often manifests as worry, fear, rumination, avoidance, and compulsions making it difficult to cope everyday situations. However anxiety shows up in your life you have the power to overcome and make changes in your life.
My work goes beyond symptom management. I start with a thorough assessment to understand how and why anxiety is showing up in your life. Sometimes it's driven by learned patterns, perfectionism or avoidance. In other cases, unprocessed trauma or chronic overwhelm underrate the surface can intensify anxious responses.
Common modalities I use in Anxiety and OCD Treatment include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) which helps you break the cycle of avoidance and fear, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which helps build psychological flexibility and live in alignment with your values, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which can help identify and reshape stuck patterns.
