Therapy for Substance and
Behavioral Addictions

Helping you reclaim clarity, choice, and freedom from addictive patterns
Addictive patterns don't develop because someone is weak or lacks willpower. They're often rooted in pain, overwhelm or a nervous system that has learned to rely on certain behaviors or substances to cope. Over time this can create cycles of shame, secrecy and disconnection despite wanting to change.
My approach to addiction is compassionate, non judgmental and grounded in understanding the whole person. We look beyond the behavior itself and explore what is driving it. Recovery becomes possible when you supported, understood and given tools to help you feel steadier.
I begin with a thoughtful assessment so we can understand what you are struggling with and what you want for yourself. Addiction can show up for many reasons and we want you to not just stop the behavior but to have long term healing. I often treat addiction with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help how thoughts, emotions and behaviors connect to allow for build patterns that support recovery, DeTUR, an EMDR protocol which is an acronym for Desensitization of Triggers and Urge Reprocessing, to focus specifically on reducing cravings, triggers, and urge driven behaviors, EMDR or other brain based therapies for underlying traumas and unresolved experience that may be fueling addictive cycles.
My goal is to help you find freedom and self-trust again in a space where you are met with care rather than judgment. To find out more about working together you can use the contact form below to reach out or schedule a 15 minute phone consultation.
